These Billing Terms & Conditions document explains how payments, pricing, and billing are handled when you place an order with Stowena. By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Payment Methods We Accept

Stowena offers a range of secure, widely-used payment options so you can check out using whichever method works best for you. We currently accept:

  • Major Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • PayPal
  • Afterpay (where eligible)
  • Mobile Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Bank Transfers: Available for bulk and trade orders only — please email Info@stowena.com for details

2. How Payment Is Processed

  • Payment must be submitted in full at the time you place your order. We do not currently offer installment-based or post-purchase billing outside of approved third-party services like Afterpay.
  • Orders are not picked, packed, or shipped until payment has been successfully authorized and received.
  • If your payment is declined or fails for any reason — insufficient funds, expired card, address mismatch, etc. — your order will not be confirmed, and you'll receive a notification so you can update your payment details and resubmit.

3. Pricing & Currency

  • All product prices displayed on stowena.com are listed in [Accepted Currencies].
  • Pricing is subject to change at any time without prior notice. The price you'll be charged is the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout.
  • Applicable sales tax, duties, and any non-free shipping fees (for destinations outside our free shipping coverage) will be calculated automatically at checkout and shown to you before you confirm payment.
  • Promotional pricing, discount codes, and limited-time offers may have specific eligibility requirements that will be displayed on the promotion's landing page or at checkout.

4. Secure Payment Handling

Your security is non-negotiable. Stowena uses industry-standard SSL encryption across our entire checkout process, and all payment transactions are routed through trusted, PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways.

Stowena itself does not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or banking credentials at any point — this information is handled exclusively by the secured payment processor.

5. Refunds & Chargebacks

  • If you spot a billing error, an unfamiliar charge, or any other issue on your end, please reach out to us first at Info@stowena.com. Our team can almost always resolve the issue faster than a chargeback dispute, and we'd rather solve it directly with you.
  • Stowena reserves the right to investigate and formally dispute any unauthorized, fraudulent, or invalid chargebacks. We take this seriously and will provide all order documentation, communications, and delivery records to the payment provider as part of the dispute.

6. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification

To protect both our customers and our business, Stowena reserves the right to cancel, refuse, hold, or delay any order that triggers our fraud screening systems or that we suspect involves unauthorized payment activity.

In some cases — particularly for high-value orders, mismatched billing/shipping addresses, or transactions flagged by our payment processor — we may request additional identity verification before the order can proceed. This may include providing a copy of a government-issued ID, a credit card statement showing the matching transaction, or a brief verification call. These steps exist to protect cardholders from fraudulent use of their information.
