At Stowena, we want every customer to feel confident about what they're bringing into their home. If something isn't quite right when your order arrives, we've built a straightforward process to make it right — no runaround, no fine print designed to trip you up.

Canceling an Order Before It Ships

If you change your mind shortly after placing your order, you can request a cancellation within 24 hours of checkout by emailing us at Info@stowena.com. Please include your order number in the subject line so our team can locate your order quickly.

Beyond the 24-hour window, we can't guarantee that cancellation will still be possible — your order may have already moved into the fulfillment queue. Once your order has been handed off to the carrier and shipped, cancellation is no longer an option. In that case, you're welcome to initiate a return after delivery in accordance with the return process outlined below.

Our 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to initiate a return. We don't charge restocking fees, we don't penalize you for changing your mind, and our support team will walk you through every step.

To qualify for a return, items must arrive back to us:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them
  • In their original packaging, including all tags, hardware, accessories, and documentation
  • Free of damage that wasn't present at the time of delivery

Restocking Fees: $0. Stowena does not charge a restocking fee on any standard return.

Who Pays for Return Shipping

If the issue is on our end — return shipping is on us.

Stowena covers the full cost of return shipping when the item arrives:

  • Incorrect (wrong product, wrong color, wrong size sent vs. what was ordered)
  • Damaged during transit by the carrier
  • Defective in any way (manufacturing flaw, missing critical parts, structural failure out of the box)

If you're returning for change-of-mind reasons — return shipping is on you.

In the following situations, the customer is responsible for the actual cost of return shipping back to our warehouse:

  • The wrong item was selected at checkout
  • The item doesn't fit your space or doesn't work for the room you intended
  • You've simply decided you no longer want the product

In all change-of-mind return cases, the original outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.

Step-by-Step Return Instructions

Step 1 — Reach Out.
Email our team at Info@stowena.com with your order number and a brief explanation of why you'd like to return the item. If the item is damaged or defective, please attach a few clear photos so we can move quickly.

Step 2 — Repackage Your Item.
Place the item back into its original packaging along with every tag, accessory, manual, and piece of hardware that came with it. Secure the box so it can travel safely back to us.

Step 3 — Ship It Back.
Once we've reviewed your request, you'll receive a return authorization email with the return shipping address and specific instructions on how to send the package back. Please follow the recommended carrier or shipping method listed in that email to ensure your return is properly tracked.

How Refunds Are Processed

Inspection on Arrival: As soon as your returned item reaches our warehouse, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the return condition requirements listed above.

Refund Issued: Once your return is approved, we'll initiate the refund to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, please allow up to 7 business days for the funds to appear in your account after we've processed the refund on our end.

If your return doesn't meet the eligibility requirements upon inspection (for example, items returned used, damaged, or missing original packaging), our team will reach out to you directly before any next steps are taken.

Exchanges

Need a different size, a different color, or want to swap for a different product entirely? Stowena accepts exchanges. Simply email Info@stowena.com with your order number and the details of what you'd like to switch to, and we'll guide you through a quick exchange process.

If Your Order Doesn't Arrive

If your tracking shows your package is delayed beyond the expected delivery window, or it never arrives at all, please contact us at Info@stowena.com with your order number. Our team will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf.

If the package is officially confirmed lost by the carrier, Stowena will make it right — either by issuing a full refund to your original payment method or by shipping a replacement at no additional cost to you. The choice is yours.

Items That Can't Be Returned

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, a small number of items in our catalog are not eligible for return. Any non-returnable product will be clearly labeled as such on its product page before you complete your purchase, so there are no surprises.

Stowena reserves the right to update this Return & Refund Policy at any time as our operations evolve. Any updates will be posted to this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Stowena website after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
