Description
Five diamond shaped shades of milky white glass, and not one visible bulb between them. The whole shade glows instead of the filament glaring.
Frosted opal glass is a diffuser, not a decoration. The milky wall of each shade spreads the point of light across the whole diamond, a soft glowing shape instead of a filament the size of a grain of rice. Five of them sit along a sleek black bar with antique brass accents, and the rod system adjusts the hang from 22.85 to 71.65 inches.
Two plain notes. It is a hardwired ceiling fixture, wired into the junction box above, and we recommend the installation is carried out by a qualified, licensed electrician. The five sockets are E26 and take up to 60 watts each, with LED, incandescent and CFL all fine. It dims when you pair dimmable bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer; neither is included.
Do I need an electrician for this?
We recommend one, yes. The fixture hardwires into the ceiling junction box, so a qualified, licensed electrician is the right person to hang it; the box includes the canopy, rods and all mounting hardware they will need.
