The body is narrow on purpose: 10.83 inches across the front and 23.62 inches deep, so it slides into the strip between an armchair and a wall, and both drawers pull out of that narrow end. Because the drawers run the full depth of the cabinet, you still get a proper drawer in a footprint the width of a magazine. The ends are curved, so there is no sharp corner at knee height, the front carries a checkerboard veneer with an aged metal handle on each drawer, and it weighs 35.27 pounds, which is what solid wood weighs. No assembly means exactly that: you unwrap it, put it down, and the job is finished.
